A Delicious Texas Roadhouse Experience

One day, I stumbled upon a post raving about the incredible dinner rolls at Texas Roadhouse. Curious, I checked the map and found one less than two miles away! I asked my friend R if she had tried it before, and she enthusiastically agreed, saying their rolls are absolutely slap! So, we made plans to celebrate our two-month anniversary on Sunday night at the restaurant.

Texas Cowboy Vibes

R arrived in a classic Texas cowboy outfit that looked amazing! She sported a stylish pair of Texas boots that her dad gifted her, which cost over $200! It was the perfect outfit for our Texan dining adventure.

A Roll Like No Other

Let me tell you, those rolls did not disappoint! R was all smiles, and I couldn’t help but agree; they were incredibly soft and had a delightful buttery flavor, especially when paired with their special sauce (a little on the oily side, but worth it!).

Main Course Madness

For her main dish, R ordered a medium-rare sirloin, along with mashed potatoes and green beans. I wanted to try the PRIME RIB, but sadly, it was sold out that evening. Instead, I opted for the same sirloin with mashed potatoes and corn. Interestingly enough, the mashed potatoes had their skins left on, which made me do a double-take thinking it was meat!

Making It Last

As our meal was winding down, R kindly asked our waitress for a take-out box for the leftover rolls. She dubbed herself a “homegirl” for doing so, and even tipped her $20! I had no idea the restaurant had a self-checkout on a little tablet—R took charge of that part right away, giving me a good laugh! 🥹🥹 We packed up the remaining food, ensuring we’d have leftovers to enjoy the next day. R even took a moment to organize the utensils before leaving, claiming it was a part of her upbringing—talk about a +1 for good manners!

Sweet Memories

After I got dropped off, R playfully waved her box of rolls in front of our friends J and D, yelling out “ROLLS!” I nearly jumped out of my skin from the surprise! 😂

Chillin’ Time

We spent some time chilling in my room, sharing some sweet moments, but R mentioned she had work to do, so she didn’t stay long. Overall, it was a wonderful evening filled with laughter, delicious food, and cherished memories.
