Celebrating the 25th Anniversary of Macau’s Return 🇲🇴
This year marks the 25th anniversary of Macau’s return to China! After dreaming for so long, I finally set foot on this beautiful land. The historical landmarks of Macau Peninsula and the spectacular night views of Taipa Island 🌃 truly make it hard not to fall in love with this enchanting city ❤️. Below, I’ll share some of the stunning photo spots I visited in just one day 📷.
1. Ruins of St. Paul’s (大三巴牌坊) 📍
As one of Macau’s iconic landmarks, the Ruins of St. Paul’s can get extremely crowded on the front steps. A tip: head to the sides to explore the romantic alleys and the Fortaleza do Monte, where you can escape the tourist hustle and capture beautiful shots instead.

2. East Hill New Street (东望洋新街) 📍
This spot is perfect for those Instagram-worthy shots reminiscent of National Geographic! Capture the classic street curves merged with the futuristic Grand Lisboa hotel in the background. A long focal length will help create a powerful visual contrast between the old and the new.

3. East Hill Fortress (东望洋炮台) 📍
Perched at the highest point on Macau Peninsula, the East Hill Fortress offers breathtaking panoramic views. The seating area near the lighthouse is ideal for snapping photos with the Grand Lisboa and Macau Tower in the distance.

4. Crazy Alley (澳门疯堂斜巷) 📍
A turn off East Hill New Street leads you to Crazy Alley. I adore the old-world charm of Macau’s architectural streets, which make for excellent photo opportunities no matter how you shoot.

5. Little Taipa Hill Viewing Platform (小潭山观景台) 📍
This is another classic viewpoint! Climbing to the top rewards you with stunning visuals of the bridge leading to the Grand Lisboa. The sunset here is simply breathtaking!

6. The Londoner (伦敦人) 📍
Even during the day, The Londoner is beautiful, but its nighttime views are astonishing. You really do feel like you’re in London! The viewing platform in the connect walkway is the perfect spot for watching the dazzling light shows.

7. The Parisian (巴黎人) 📍
You can access The Parisian directly from The Londoner through the connected walkway. The Eiffel Tower here offers free access to the 7th-floor viewing platform, eliminating the need to buy a ticket to the 37th floor!

8. Streets of Macau Peninsula (澳门半岛街道) 📍
The streets of the peninsula are incredibly photogenic, with their vintage buildings and vibrant, dopamine-inducing colors. The blend of classic architecture with scooters offers a delightful backdrop for street photography.

Conclusion
Macau is a treasure trove of history, culture, and breathtaking sights. Whether you’re an avid photographer or just someone who appreciates beauty, this city offers endless opportunities for exploration and capture. Take a journey, explore, and create unforgettable memories in this stunning destination! #Macau #CityWalk #TravelPhotography
