During my last visit, I was thoroughly impressed by the frog-patterned bronze drum. This unique piece came to life thanks to the transparent OLED screen and directional audio system. By simply tapping the glass, a frog springs into view, only to evaporate into a shower of stars. It’s truly a captivating sight! 🌟

Moreover, interacting with the bronze drum image also fills the air with its delightful drum beat. The combination of visuals and sound elevates the experience, making it an interactive journey through art and culture.

The museum’s architecture compliments the exhibits beautifully. The spiral ceiling structure, corbel brackets, and movable LED screens create a dynamic environment, reminiscent of the galaxy. While tickets can be obtained on site, I highly recommend booking online in advance. The visitor numbers seem to have increased significantly after my first visit. With the virtual reservation, you can glide through the ticketing queue and enter seamlessly. 📅

Currently, I’m hearing that the bronze head exhibit will be closed until February, replaced by replicas. If you haven’t seen it yet, hurry up and check it out before the reinstallation! 🎟️

The museum is located on the second floor of MGM Macau, which is easily accessible by taking the free shuttle bus from the Macau border. Be sure not to confuse it with the MGM Cotai, as they are two different places!

• Monday to Thursday: 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Friday: 11:00 AM – 9:00 PM
• Saturday/Sunday & Public Holidays: 10:00 AM – 8:00 PM

Admission:

The entrance is free, but it’s advisable to follow the MGM Macau official WeChat for reservations. Reservations guarantee entry, and each account can book up to four tickets. 🎫

Upon entering the museum, don’t forget to grab a free ice cream croissant! It’s available every day starting at 11 AM, but hurry—there are only 50 available each day. Additionally, you can indulge in free beverages like bubble tea and coffee in the casino area. I highly recommend the brown sugar pearl milk! 🥤
