1. Download the Application: Head over to the AAA website and download the application form. Be sure to fill in your U.S. driver’s license information accurately. Don’t forget to bring your original driver’s license when you visit the AAA office. The best part? No appointment is necessary!
2. Prepare Your Photos: You will need two (2) passport-style photos, measuring 2 x 2 inches (51 x 51 mm) with a white background. I took my own photos and printed them at CVS for only $0.44 for two. If you prefer, AAA also offers on-site photo services, making it even more convenient.
3. Staff Confirmation: Once you arrive at AAA, the staff will confirm that your IDP is valid for one year. You can also specify the desired start date for when you want it to become effective.
