Step-by-Step Guide

1. Arriving at the DMV

Follow others into the building and queue up. When you get to a staff member, let them know it’s your first time applying for a driver’s license. They will verify your documents and issue you a numbered ticket that starts with “G” and indicates your business is related to driver’s licensing. Remember to keep an eye on the screen for your turn—if you miss it, you will need to grab a new number.
