Initially recommended by a friend, I was drawn in by the enticing reviews of their famous duck leg. My first visit was a delight, but the experience was, let’s say, unforgettable for more than just the food! 🚙

Finding parking was quite the adventure. I ended up in a public parking lot two blocks away, navigating past an array of characters that left me a bit shaken. The sight of individuals loitering on the streets made the journey, at times, nerve-wracking! 😰 However, all those worries quickly vanished once I stepped inside L’APPART.

A Menu Filled with Classics

Although the menu has shifted slightly since my first visit — the delicious garlic bread had vanished! — the signature dishes are still wonderfully available. Here’s what I highly recommend:

• Escargot 🐌: A must-order! You get twelve snails for just $22, making it a superb deal.
• Onion Soup 🧅: Rich and flavor-packed, it’s my favorite dish here — one sip and you’ll be hooked.
• Octopus Legs 🐙: Tender and well-seasoned, this dish is delightful to the palate.
• Duck Leg 🦆 and Fish: Both are incredibly delicious, generously portioned; I always take leftovers home for another fulfilling meal.
• Dessert: Consistently great, especially the flatbread that’s about the size of a whole pizza! 🍕 What a value!

The service feels genuine, with many staff members being native French speakers. A Few Caveats

While the food is absolutely worth it, there are a few downsides. Parking can be a challenge, and the surrounding area may feel a bit questionable after dark. Additionally, the restrooms are located outside, but rest assured, there is security on duty to ensure safety.
