Our Month-Long Packing Journey Complete! 🎉

After nearly a month of packing, we finally did it! Our entire container is filled to the brim, with over 30 cubic meters and a whopping 151 boxes. It feels surreal because we initially packed nearly 50 boxes ourselves. When the moving company arrived, they estimated we would have around 120 boxes, and we thought, “How is that even possible?” 🤨 But, in the end, we were surprised to find out there were actually 151 boxes!

Gratitude for Hard Work 🙌

We are incredibly thankful for the hardworking crew that assisted us during this process. Their honesty, positive attitude, and speed made a stressful situation much easier. It’s refreshing to see professionals who focus on the task at hand without unnecessary distractions. Their efficiency truly stood out to us!

A Heartwarming Goodbye to Our Little Home 🏡

Before sealing the boxes, we made sure to take a final photo with our “little home.” This moment carries a lot of sentiment as we move on to the next chapter of our lives. It’s been a few months coming, and finally completing this packing ordeal lifted a huge weight off our shoulders. Plus, we were treated to a stunning sunset afterward—what a delightful end to a long day!

International Shipping Experience 📦

For those interested in international logistics, we’ve been utilizing sea freight from 🇸🇬 Singapore to 🇨🇳 China. So far, we’ve had a good experience with the workers here in Singapore, but there have been some communication hurdles with the sales team (especially concerning contracts, customs, and insurance). As we move forward with ocean shipping, customs clearance, and delivery, we’re still evaluating whether we would recommend this company. I’ll be sure to share more insights once our cargo arrives.
