Finding the Perfect Short-Term Rental in New York City
Finding the Perfect Short-Term Rental in New York City
Today, I want to share my experience of living and studying in New York City. 🌟 Due to frequently moving across countries, I always find myself looking for short-term rentals that come furnished. This task can be quite a challenge, and I can definitely relate to the struggles of finding a comfortable place to stay! 🤔
Why Not Just Stay in a Hotel?
After several exhausting searches, I often think, why not just stay in a hotel? 🤷♀️ Hotels are hassle-free and you don’t have to deal with the complexities of rental agreements. Plus, at my current hotel, I feel like I belong. The staff knows my name, and I often get a comforting “welcome back” vibe. When I’m ill or injured, they’re always there to assist me, offering not just practical help but emotional support, too. Feeling cared for makes all the difference!
Location, Location, Location!
In just a 2-minute walk, I find myself in K-Town, surrounded by an abundance of amazing food options I can’t get enough of! 🍜 And the convenience doesn’t stop there; with incredibly quick delivery times, I never go hungry. No need for the subway either—my school is only a 15-minute walk away. Within a 10-minute radius, I can easily satisfy all of my daily needs: healthcare, gym, hair salons, bars, hot pot, and bubble tea! 🍵
Best Neighborhoods for Short-Term Rentals
In my personal opinion, I believe that East Midtown is a better option compared to the West Side. Areas like Nomad, Flatiron, and Gramercy are my top recommendations! These neighborhoods are mainly populated by professionals and elites, offering a vibrant atmosphere. While the Upper East Side boasts cultural charm, it’s too far for newcomers and isn’t the best fit for transplants.
The Secret is Safe With Me!
I’d love to keep this information under wraps since I don’t want too many people to know about my favorite spots! 😅 But I can’t help but share the struggles of finding a suitable place to live. This city can indeed be a wonderful challenge, and I’ve learned a lot along the way.
🏠The vibe on 5th is just incredible!
