Montana is calling!! The world-famous bar Sips, alongside the newly opened Asian best Bar Leone, has introduced its “newborn baby” Montana, which has finally started its soft opening. I was there on the very first day, eager to try out the entire menu almost! My friend joked that it could siphon off some patrons from Bar Leone, but I suggested that we might end up not enjoying either of them! 🍹

  Refreshing and easy to drink, garnished with corn chunk that adds a subtle salty flavor, evoking a breezy seaside vibe.

  This was the special recommendation but tasted more like a pineapple ice—quite the humorous sip! 🤣

  I barely remember this one, as it leaned more towards sour than sweet. There seems to be a rim of salty plum powder? If you’re a fan of savory drinks, give it a try!

  I gave this a perfect score! The balance of flavors—acidity and sweetness—was outstanding, leaving me wondering why it’s such a recommended choice (I just wanted to fly to Cuba for more of those plants!).

  The name says it all! If you love Martinis and blue cheese, this is a must-try. I’m not usually a Martini person, but this was hands down the best I’ve sampled in HK. Its gentle build-up will definitely make you crave more.

  No surprise here, as Bar Leone’s new venture perfectly nails this classic cocktail. Don’t make it your first order; save it for a second round for a delightful surprise!

📍 Shop A, 108 Hollywood Rd, Tai Ping Shan, right next to the Man Mo Temple. The bar pays homage to the golden age of Cuban cocktails, with a decor that reflects the vibe of 1970s Miami. From vintage spoons hidden under the tables to artwork on the walls, you can see that the concept is intricately woven throughout the space.
