• Incredible Scenery: The views are nothing short of spectacular! Unlike many popular Caribbean destinations, the USVI offers both beautiful beaches and stunning mountains. St. John, in particular, dazzles with its expansive shallow waters—it’s a sight you won’t forget!
• Endless Activities: There’s something for everyone! From hiking in Virgin Islands National Park to sailing and snorkeling, the islands offer a myriad of experiences. You can choose to relax or embark on adventurous outings—there’s no shortage of options.

• Hotel Size and Amenities: Compared to all-inclusive resorts in Cancun or the Dominican Republic, many hotels in the USVI have smaller public areas and fewer on-site activities. It’s essential to plan your adventures and restaurant visits ahead of time.
• Car Rentals: Renting a car is highly recommended for ease of movement. Be prepared for right-hand driving (the vehicles are left-hand drive), especially on the hilly and winding roads. It can feel like a roller coaster ride!
• Island Transportation: The two main islands, St. John and St. Thomas, are connected by ferry, which you can reserve in advance through Google. You can even take your vehicle on the ferry!

During my stay at the so-called 4-star Margaritaville Resort, I encountered significant disappointments. The beach was littered with seaweed and mud, and the unpleasant scent made dining on the property feel like sitting near an unsanitary restroom! Always check reviews and ensure the beach is clean. While our experience at Margaritaville was unfortunate, I found many other resorts that are not like this one.
