Have you heard the news? 🎉 Montana has officially opened its doors, and it’s all the rage in the vibrant bar scene of Hong Kong! Complementing the globally celebrated Sips and the latest entry from the acclaimed Bar Leone, Montana aims to provide a unique drinking experience worth exploring. I had the pleasure of attending the soft opening and tried almost the entire menu on the very first day. Here’s a glimpse of what’s in store!

This refreshing drink is a delight, garnished with playful corn chunks that add a subtle briny taste, making it reminiscent of a sea breeze in every sip.

Pina Colada (3 out of 5)

Recommended by the staff, but honestly, it felt just like sipping on some frozen pineapple! 🍍

Benny Blanco (3 out of 5)

While I hardly remember this one, I do recall a distinct tartness overpowering the sweetness. The rim had a sprinkle of salty plum powder. If you’re a fan of savory cocktails, give it a shot!

Hotel Nacional (5 out of 5)

This cocktail deserves full marks! With a bold flavor that perfectly balances sweetness and acidity, it’s no wonder why this drink is a top recommendation. You’ll certainly be inspired to take a trip to Cuba after tasting it! 🇨🇺

Blue Cheese Martini (5 out of 5)

If you’re a fan of martinis and blue cheese, this is a must-try! Although I’m usually not a martini person, I found this to be the best martini I’ve ever experienced in HK. Its smoothness will keep you coming back for more without overwhelming you.

Rum Coke Sour (4 out of 5)

This cocktail exemplifies the classical mixology skills of the Bar Leone team. While I recommend saving this gem for your second round, it promises to enhance your bar experience!
