Discovering Delicious Cantonese Cuisine in New Jersey 🍽️
If you’re a foodie on the hunt for delectable dishes in the USA, look no further! I recently visited Canton Palace, a gem located at 216 W Main St, Somerville, NJ, and let me tell you, it’s worth the trip! 😋✨ This restaurant specializes in traditional Cantonese meals, and they surely do not skimp on flavor!
A Unique Culinary Experience
During my visit, I decided to try something new and ordered the Lotus Leaf Steamed Chicken. This dish includes both frog legs and tender chicken, perfectly complemented by red dates and goji berries. Just one hefty portion can easily feed four people! 🥢❤️
The flavors were delightfully fresh and mild—ideal for those who prefer dishes that aren’t too overpowering. The addition of mushrooms and black fungus, paired with marinated chicken, created a delicious and savory experience without being excessively heavy. The accompanying sauce was excellent for drizzling over rice, making every bite a pleasurable experience! 🍚👌
Dim Sum Delights
You can’t visit a Cantonese restaurant without indulging in some dim sum! I made sure to taste a variety of classic choices, including shrimp dumplings, sticky rice chicken, and chicken feet. Each dish was satisfying, and I couldn’t resist ordering more. The shrimp dumplings were particularly outstanding, with just the right amount of plumpness and flavor. 🥟✨
