However, I soon realized my fundamental statistics skills were lacking, and I struggled with the technical knowledge required for interviews.

Bettering Your Skills

Determined to catch up, I focused on strengthening my foundation. During the summer break, I attempted to apply for internships, but the results were less than promising. Only one interview opportunity arose from over three months of applications, leading me to doubt my abilities. Ultimately, I shifted my focus to job opportunities in China and successfully landed a summer internship with a top tech firm.

That initial internship provided me with invaluable experience—the first steps in the tech industry opened my eyes to the demands and realities of the field.
