After returning to work for a week, I never anticipated how challenging a 15-hour time difference would be! Each night, I find myself feeling dizzy with fatigue by 8 PM and waking up at 3 AM. 🌙 In my hazy state, I sometimes imagine I’m still driving through the vast, beautiful landscapes of the West Coast.

A Journey Worth Remembering

Despite the struggle with jet lag, this trip was truly memorable. My incredible journey across the East and West of America spanned three time zones, six states, and nearly 4,000 kilometers of scenic driving. 🚗

Monument Valley: A Moment of Reflection

Standing in Monument Valley, on the same red earth where Forrest Gump stopped running after three years, I felt a wave of emotions washing over me. The iconic road he traveled evokes a sense of nostalgia and beauty. 🌅

Chasing the Sun: Horseshoe Bend

As I drove from Utah to Arizona, I chased the sun across the horizon. Arriving at Horseshoe Bend during sunset, I suddenly spotted the moon rising in the distance, which made me and my companions scream with excitement! 🌞🌜

Antelope Canyon: Nature’s Artwork

In Lower Antelope Canyon, I witnessed the stunning landscape sculpted by water and wind, a beautiful manifestation of nature’s power and gentleness over time. An Indian guide pointed out a rock that resembled a monkey, while I saw a pair of lovers embracing. It’s fascinating how everyone perceives Antelope Canyon in their unique way. 💕

Yellowstone National Park: Nature’s Ever-Changing Canvas

Due to the U.S. government shutdown, we enjoyed free admission to Yellowstone National Park. During our two days there, we experienced sunrise and sunset, rain and fog, and even the first snowflakes. Driving through the park, I felt like I was in a constantly changing cinematic experience. Remember, “Change is the only constant” in Yellowstone. 🌧️❄️

Salt Lake City: A Sunset to Remember

In Utah’s capital, Salt Lake City, as the sun set over the vast salt lake, the world transformed into a vibrant pink hue. Walking on the crystalline salt flats and breathing in the mixed scent of fermenting algae felt almost surreal. 🌸

Las Vegas: A Desert Mirage

Diving deep into the Nevada desert, I found myself squinting against the fierce sunlight on the Las Vegas Strip, where the dazzling lights and excitement transported me to a place reminiscent of Macau. 🎰

Los Angeles: A Dream Come True

In Los Angeles, though I didn’t wake up at 4 AM, the allure of Santa Monica Beach captivated me. Standing in front of the famous Hollywood sign, I felt how close dreams could come after feeling so far away for so long. 🌴✨

Magical Moments at Disney

Finally, I unlocked the magic of the world’s first Disney park, marking my third visit to a Disney location. The fireworks over the castle were a perfect finale to this amazing journey. 🎆🏰
