Eventide Oyster Co. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

During my time in Portland, I couldn’t resist visiting Eventide Oyster Co. twice! The oysters here are remarkably fresh, not overly salty, and end with a delightful sweet aftertaste. The standout dish for me was their clam bake, expertly prepared in a large steamer that left me reminiscing about its exquisite flavors. Although, fair warning, prices can be on the higher end! 💰

Bar Harbor: Gateway to Acadia National Park

Atlantic Brewing Company ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

As is customary for many visitors, I made my way to Acadia National Park and enjoyed several meals in Bar Harbor. One of my favorite spots was the Atlantic Brewing Company. While the food fell under typical American BBQ fare, it excelled in portion sizes and affordability. Their sampler platter of smoked meats was a massive steal at just $21! A highlight worth mentioning is their blueberry soda; it was so tasty that I ended up buying four bottles to take home! 🍇

Side Street Cafe ⭐️⭐️⭐️½

Conveniently located near downtown Bar Harbor and close to Acadia, Side Street Cafe didn’t impress me much with the dish I ordered. However, it was perfect for grabbing takeout to enjoy while watching the sunset. Just a heads up—while the queue was long, the value for other menu items seemed a bit off. 😅

Choco-Latte Cafe ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

If you’re looking for a great breakfast spot, look no further than Choco-Latte Cafe. Just be prepared for the crowd! I highly recommend their chocolate latte, but if cinnamon isn’t your thing, you might want to skip it. ☕

Lompoc Cafe ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️½

My second favorite during this trip was Lompoc Cafe. Every dish I tried was incredibly delicious! The Dijon mussels delivered a spicy kick, and their garlic bread perfectly complemented the dish. The crab toast was a delightful surprise with sweet peas that paired beautifully. For mains, I indulged in the lamb shawarma and a crispy chicken burger that was crispy perfection! 🍗

Mount Desert Island Ice Cream ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Stumbling upon a local ice cream shop became a sweet highlight! Their unique roasted tea flavor was surprisingly incredible—definitely worth a visit for dessert lovers! 🍦

The Travelin Lobster, LLC ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️½

For a great value, The Travelin Lobster, LLC is a must-visit! Located just a short drive from Bar Harbor, it’s a fantastic stop after spending the morning in Acadia. I enjoyed their lobster, which was so fresh that it hardly needed seasoning. If time allows, treat yourself to a full lobster dinner—it’s a meal you won’t forget! ⚓
